Get ready to learn a lot. You’ll go back to your paper with loads of new ideas and strategies for selling and finding sources of revenue.
Costs
Registration is free. Your TCCJ workshop experience is funded by a generous grant from the Texas Newspaper Foundation.
Lodging
For this one-day workshop, TCCJ is not providing lodging. However, we’ve reserved a block of rooms at the Hangar Hotel.
The workshop schedule
The workshop will begin at 9 a.m., include breaks and lunch, and end by 4 p.m.
Parking
Parking is simple and free: Go to the hotel; park in the lot.

What to bring
The temperatures in the conference center are controlled for the comfort of most participants, but if you tend to get cold when others are comfortable, bring a sweater or be prepared to layer your clothing. Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided, although you certainly can bring your own.
Dress
It’s as casual as you want it to be. The focus is on learning and professional interaction, not how you’re dressed.
Internet access
Wireless internet access will be available at the workshop.
Smoking
The hotel is non-smoking, so you will need to go outside to light up.
