If you have any questions at all, let us know. The Center’s email and office phone can be found at the bottom of this page – so don’t hesitate to call.

Get ready to learn a lot. You’ll go back to your paper with loads of new ideas and strategies for selling and finding sources of revenue.

Registration is free. Your TCCJ workshop experience is funded by a generous grant from the Texas Newspaper Foundation.

For this one-day workshop, TCCJ is not providing lodging. However, we’ve reserved a block of rooms at the Hangar Hotel.

The workshop schedule

The workshop will begin at 9 a.m., include breaks and lunch, and end by 4 p.m.

Parking is simple and free:  Go to the hotel; park in the lot.

Last-minute emergencies

If something comes up that prevents your attending the workshop, please let us know. Email the Center at tccj@tarleton.edu or text us at 817-235-2451.

What to bring

The temperatures in the conference center are controlled for the comfort of most participants, but if you tend to get cold when others are comfortable, bring a sweater or be prepared to layer your clothing. Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided, although you certainly can bring your own.

It’s as casual as you want it to be.  The focus is on learning and professional interaction, not how you’re dressed.

Internet access

Wireless internet access will be available at the workshop.

The hotel is non-smoking, so you will need to go outside to light up.
